Briefing

GTI 2025 briefing to European Institute for Counter Terrorism and Conflict Prevention

Produced annually by the Institute for Economics & Peace, the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) is the most comprehensive resource on global terrorism trends and uses multiple factors to calculate its score, including the number of incidences, fatalities, injuries and hostages, and combines it with conflict and socio-economic data to provide a holistic picture of terrorism.

The GTI 2025 briefing to the European Institute for Counter Terrorism and Conflict Prevention (EICTP) will include a presentation of the GTI findings, followed by a discussion of EICTP’s own terrorism report, led by EICTP staff under the leadership of Gen (Ret) Gustenau and Dr Stockhammer.
