Briefing

The State of Global Peace

Produced annually by the Institute for Economics & Peace, the GPI is the world's leading measure of global peacefulness, ranking 163 independent states and territories using 23 qualitative and quantitative indicators.

From conflict spillover and geopolitical fragmentation to the growing influence of artificial intelligence on security dynamics and its role in shaping violent conflict, this event will examine how these forces are reshaping the international security landscape. It will also consider the broader impacts of conflict involving Iran beyond the Middle East, with a focus on implications for the Indo-Pacific region and the wider international system.

Speakers:

  • Tim Watts - Member of Parliament
  • Steve Killelea - CEO and Founder Institute for Economics and Peace.org
