The Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP), the world’s leading think tank measuring peace and quantifying its economic value, will release the 19th annual Global Peace Index 2025. This comprehensive report ranks 163 nations by their relative levels of peacefulness and provides the latest data and analysis on the key trends, patterns, and drivers shaping global peace.
The Global Peace Index 2025 examines critical factors such as militarisation, societal safety and security, and ongoing conflict to assess how peaceful the world currently is and to identify emerging challenges.
Dr. Dan N. Odaba, IEP Director for Southern Africa will present the findings at the official launch event on Thursday, 10 July 2025, at the Australian High Commission in Nairobi, Kenya.
Participation in the launch event is by invitation only.
The full Global Peace Index 2025 report will be available on Institute for Economics & Peace and Vision of Humanity website and IEP social media channels.
