Join us for the official launch of the twelfth edition of the Mexico Peace Index (MPI), where we will present and discuss the latest findings, trends, and insights on peacefulness across Mexico — both over the past year and the last decade.
Produced by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), the MPI is a comprehensive annual assessment of levels of peace in Mexico, based on the internationally recognised Global Peace Index.
The 2025 edition offers updated data, analysis of long-term trends, and estimates of the economic impact of violence at the national, state, and local levels. The report provides valuable, evidence-based insights for policymakers, business leaders, and civil society to design more holistic and sustainable peacebuilding strategies for Mexico.
