While conflict trends are increasing, it is vital to measure resilience and what is working globally.
Join AfP and the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) on Wednesday, October 21st at 10am ET for the hybrid launch of IEP’s Positive Peace Report 2026.
The report found positive peace grew by 1.7 percent over the past decade, with 112 of 163 countries improving, largely due to strengthened structural conditions like connectivity, health, and human capital. However, many indicators measuring institutional and informational conditions declined, including press freedoms, government openness and transparency, and infighting between elites.
