Launch of the 2025 Global Peace Index (GPI) with a Focus on Trade

Featuring presentations of the GPI 2025 findings by the Institute for Economics and Peace and the States of Fragility 2025 report by the OECD, the session will bring together diverse perspectives on the intersections between economic integration, resilience, and peacebuilding. Reflections from Oman will highlight the country's vision of trade as a catalyst for peace and prosperity. The session will conclude with an interactive discussion, engaging participants on the implications of these findings for international cooperation, trade, and peacebuilding.
